Rating system on toonity.com
RULES FOR EVALUATION:
A certain number of points are awarded for each of the five ratings, which allows you to see at a glance which comics are the highest-rated.
Underlying point-scoring principle:
In future, the following information will be shown about every comic:
• How often is it marked as a favourite?
• How often is it viewed?
• What is its average thumbs rating?
• What score has it reached so far?
• Who has rated the comic and how highly?
toonity.com users can rate comics or drawings by other users. This determines the winner of comic/drawing competitions.
Rating can only be carried out by those who:
1.) have uploaded a profile picture
2.) have completed all text fields under “MYPROFILE” (with the exception of voluntary address information)
3.) have created at least a two-page comic in the Comic Creator or uploaded one self-illustrated picture, which has been
awarded a score of at least 10 points.
» If the score then falls back below 10 points with further ratings, the user is still able to rate.
» If a user deletes all their comics or drawings from the gallery, they are no longer able to rate.
To make sure that the competition’s fair and that every one has the same chance, we’ve set a couple of rules.
RULES FOR EVALUATION:
• You have to upload SELF-ILLUSTRATED images to your drawing only (no copies of other users or known artists)
• You have to put your drawing to the correct area: complete comic/manga, character,
object or background (IMPORTANT: Please take care of the correct tasks in competitions!)
• You can only rate each comic once.
• You cannot rate comics you have created yourself!
• You cannot change or take back your rating at a later date.
• If a comic features offensive content, it will be removed from the gallery by the toonity.com team and loses all ratings.
• If you'd like to change a comic/drawing you are able to do this under „MYWORK". After that your comic/drawing
has to be published once again to a specific gallery. The score is set to ZERO afterwards.
• Users, which register to toonity.com using more than one email address and rate their own comics/drawings, will get defaulted.
