This is how it works:
To enter your drawing in the competition and have it rated by other toonity.com users, scan your picture or take a photo of it with a digital camera, save it as a picture file, and upload it into the alaplaya Halloween drawing competition gallery, found in the "MYWORK/MYDRAWINGS" menu. The 10 drawings that have the highest ratings on the final day will win fantastic prizes. It’s definitely worth taking part!

ATTENTION:
Unfortunately it has come to our attention that members' pictures are being badly rated by other members, regardless of their quality, in order for members to give themselves an advantage in the alaplaya competition. This is not our philosophy. We would like all pictures to be judged fairly, whether they are good or bad. That is why we will be making two changes to the alaplaya competition: 1.) All ratings for alaplaya pictures already uploaded will be reset to zero today 2.) In future all ratings will no longer be anonymous, meaning that each rating will be shown with the member's name.We hope that this will lead to more realistic, and above all, fairer ratings. We hope that you understand our reasons for introducing this!

 

 

• Why is there a new tool on toonity.com and what exactly is there in the "Drawings" area?

We discovered that toonity.com already has lots of very talented and creative members who love to draw their own comics. We’d like to give these members somewhere on toonity.com to do their thing. That’s why ONLY self-illustrated images can be uploaded into the new tool.

From 8th October 2008, the "Drawings" area will consist of four different areas:
- Upload of self-illustrated comics and mangas several pages long
- Upload of self-illustrated comic/manga characters
- Upload of self-illustrated objects
- Upload of self-illustrated backgrounds

Important:
Please bear the two different areas in mind when uploading your comic/manga, and in the future consider the theme areas/groups specified there. (e.g. only holiday drawings should be uploaded under the theme "Holiday")

• Exactly who or what is "alaplaya"?

alaplaya.eu is an online community, where you can play games with your own avatar and other Internet users that are online. These games are called "Multiplayer Online Games". You can also talk to other users thanks to the chat function or post news in a blog or forum.

Using the in-game currency, "alaplaya bonus points", which you can win on toonity.com, you can buy "virtual things" on alaplaya, e.g. equipment for your avatar so that it’s fully kitted out for the alaplaya games.

In October 2008, alaplaya, together with toonity.com, is holding a Halloween drawing competition.
