RULES FOR THE PHOTO UPLOAD IN COMIC CREATOR

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ:

In the Photo Upload area of the Comic Creator, you can upload your own photos and use these in your Comic Creator comics as objects, backgrounds or figures. The photo could be of yourself, for example, or a picture you have drawn.

Summary of the most important rules for the Photo Upload area in Comic Creator:

You must own the rights to the photo you are uploading, in other words, you cannot use any pictures requiring licences. These include, amongst others, pictures from well-known comic or manga artists (e.g. Walt Disney characters) or brand logos from comic/manga films.
Do not use any copies (of photos or drawings) from other toonity.com users.
Only upload photos of pictures you have drawn yourself!
Only use photos that do not invade other people’s privacy (in other words, never upload pictures of other people without their express permission!).
Do not upload any photos that are discriminating, sexist, which glorify violence or which are politically incorrect!
You agree that you are liable for any abuse of the Photo Upload area in the Comic Creator on your part (uploading discriminatory, sexist, politically incorrect images, images which glorify violence or uploading images associated with the rights of third parties).

We will regularly check the pictures in the Comic Creator Photo Upload and remove those which do not adhere to the points listed above! Unfortunately we have to be very strict, as you may otherwise infringe on the rights of another artist or individual and in the worst case could be liable to be fined.

Further information on this can be found under the “ABOUT TOONITY” menu item, in the General Terms & Conditions under § 6 and 7 and in the Code of Conduct under points 9, 10, 12 and 13.
